On-site health care is provided by Health Practitioners that are experienced and trained in industrial injury management. All treatment recommendations are made with the employee’s health as our absolute priority. The goal is to prevent injuries by staying healthy, strong and smart. On site health care is crucial for identifying individuals that are in various categories. These categories can be thought of as:
- Working injured, those employees that may be suffering from mechanical or neurological injury but has not yet sought treatment. They may be previously unrecorded injuries; but, diagnosis and treatment can keep these people from progressively worsening injuries and long term disability.
- Employees with significant loss of function in a body part but few warning signs to let them know that they need help. They may have only mild pain, even where significant weakness or loss of range of motion exists. Early intervention keeps these cases from proceeding to the recordable stage.
- Healthy employees that operate or perform awkward or repetitive activities that are a risk to their future health. Many jobs have inherent risks and issues of physical endurance and proper biomechanical function need to be addressed if each employee is to stay healthy over a period of years.
